General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) for the Educational and Room Rental Service

Article 1: Purpose
The purpose of these general terms and conditions (GTC) is to define the terms and conditions under which RentMyClass by HECTEN provides an educational service and makes rooms available at 44 rue Poliveau, 75005 Paris.
Article 2: Reservation
Room reservations are made by signing a contract and issuing an invoice. The customer must provide all the information required for the service to be carried out correctly. Reservations are only confirmed once the agreed price has been paid in full.
Article 3: Prices and Payment Terms
Service prices are quoted in euros and include all taxes. Payment terms are specified in the reservation contract. Payment can be made by bank transfer, credit card or any other means agreed between the parties.
Article 4: Cancellation
The customer may cancel the reservation free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled date of use. After this period, the sums paid will be retained by SAS HECTEN.
Article 5: Capacity
The customer agrees not to exceed the maximum number of guests authorized for each room. If the time limit is exceeded, SAS HECTEN reserves the right to refuse access or to interrupt the service without refund.
Article 6: Condition of premises and use
The premises must be kept in a good state of repair. Any damaged furniture must be reimbursed by the customer, failing which legal action will be taken. A deposit may be requested at the time of booking, which will be returned after the departure inventory if no damage is found.
Article 7: Restrictions on use
The rooms are exclusively equipped for training purposes. It is strictly forbidden to organize cooking or sports courses, or activities that generate noise or offend public decency.
Article 8: Insurance
The customer must be in possession of liability insurance. Failure to do so may result in refusal of access to the room, with no right to reimbursement.
Article 9: Absence at time of reservation
In the event of the customer’s non-attendance on the booking date, the sums paid will be retained by SAS HECTEN.
Article 10: Liability
SAS HECTEN cannot be held responsible for damage to or loss of personal items brought by the customer or course participants.
Article 11: Termination clause
SAS HECTEN reserves the right to terminate the contract in the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions, in particular in the event of exceeding capacity, damage to the premises or non-compliance with restrictions on use.
Article 12: Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L121-21 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has a cooling-off period of 14 days from the signing of the contract, unless the service has been fully executed before the end of this period and with the customer’s express prior agreement.
Article 13: Personal data
The information collected as part of the booking process is required to process your request and is intended for SAS HECTEN. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify and delete data concerning you by contacting HECTEN.
Article 14: Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the Paris courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
